Art Gallery and Print Sales Table

Welcome to the Third Annual NWTS art show and sale. We are doing things a bit different this year.  Rather than a silent auction, we will be directly selling art all through the show.

How it works?

Each piece of art will be assigned a unique number by the art show coordinators.  As buyers make their choices, they will pay for the piece(s) at the art table where they will be issued a receipt for their purchase(s).  At that time we will request the art purchased remain hanging in the show until close on Sunday afternoon.  There will be exceptions if a buyer has to leave early, but we will be encouraging buyers to leave their purchases until the show ends.

Once a piece sells, the art show coordinator will affix a red “Sold” sticker to the assigned number for that piece.  That way, prospective buyers can see at a glance what is still available for purchase.

We hope to create a sale process that will both encourage sales and make purchasing easier and less stressful for the buyers.

Put Your Art in the Show!

Thank you for your interest in our tarot conference art show. The theme for our show is ‘Divination’, including tarot, Lenormand, and oracle deck art, and anything that fits in with this theme.

The Art Gallery

The gallery is for hanging artwork that is for sale (or not, that’s up to you).

  • Artists may either send in their work to be hung (for an additional hanging fee) or attend the conference and hang their own work.
  • Shipped art requires a $5.00 per panel hanging fee.
  • The art panels are 4×4 peg board and will be arranged in the Vendors’ Bazaar for maximum exposure.
  • Each panel rents for $20.00 and there is a limit of two (2) per artist.
  • There will be a 20% commission on all sales going to the Northwest Tarot Symposium.
  • All works must be ready to hang.  Including both original art and prints.  Peg board hangers will be provided.
  • You’ll need to include the name of the piece and the retail price on the Art Show and Sales Entry Form that accompanies your work.
  • Remember the sales commission and price your work accordingly.
  •  An 8.5″ by 11″ Artist Biography should accompany each display.
The Prints Table

Space on the print sales table is available in the Vendors’ Bazaar near the gallery.

  • Artists may either send in or drop off their work to be placed on the art tables.
  • Table space rents for a flat fee of $20.00 (if you’re hanging art in the gallery the table fee is waived for prints).
  • The table space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis (within reason, if we feel that you’ve brought too many prints they will not all be displayed at once).
  • There will be a 20% commission on all sales going to the Northwest Tarot Symposium.
  • All works must be on cardboard/heavy stock backing and in plastic sleeves.
  • You’ll need to include the name of the piece and the retail price on the Art Show and Sales Entry Form that accompanies your work.
  • Remember the sales commission and price your work accordingly.
