Most certainly! Even if you are just beginning to explore tarot you'll find our Novice track of classes has a lot to offer.
Yes. We offer three tracks: Novice, Adept, and Master. While everyone is free to attend any class, if you are a beginner you'll want to look at the Novice classes, if you've been studying tarot for a while the Adept classes may interest you, and the Master presentations are for those interested in deck creation, publishing, writing books, or becoming a professional reader.
To register visit this page, fill in the form and you'll be directed to payment options. On site registration will also be available all weekend.
You can pay using Paypal (for Debit/Credit) and you don't even need a Paypal account. We also accept checks made out to NW Tarot Symposium and mailed to: PO Box 86908 Portland, OR 97286. Please note that your payment will need to reach us prior to the event date, or you may register on site for convenience at the full door price.
All registration is will call. Please pick up your registration goodies when you arrive. The registration / information table will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Yes, you can. We have passes available for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday only. You can register for your day pass, here.
Our refund and cancellation policy is outlined below: ~Due to the overhead expenses for this type of event we do not offer refunds. Please note that when you purchase your ticket, meal options, etc. that all sales are final. ~ At any time you may give your registration to another person who wants to attend (you’ll need to contact us with their name and information), donate your registration to our scholarship fund, or use the amount you’ve paid as credit toward next year’s event.
We do accept a limited number of volunteers each year. As a volunteer you get into the event for a reduced fee (depending on how many hours you work). Volunteering is a great opportunity that lets you be a part of the event, talk and network easily with others, and have fun helping out. For more information, visit the volunteer page.
Join our Facebook group: NW Tarot Symposium. Post that you're looking for someone to share a room with and have them PM you.
We leave that up to you. Many people enjoying dressing up a little (or a lot) that evening, but it's not a requirement. For those who would like to, it ranges from evening wear, to renaissance dress, corsets, dressing as a favorite tarot card, and more! Have fun with it and wear what's comfortable to you.
We have three tracks and four classes to choose from in every time slot. Three of the classes are PowerPoint/lecture presentations, the other one is a small group interactive workshop. You can't go to them all, but you will hopefully always find something you're excited about attending!
Join us for the Friday Meet and Greet, Saturday Night Cocktail Party, and the Sunday Special Event. Plus the vending area is open Friday afternoon and all weekend. There are a lot of great vendors to see and goodies to be had. In the vending area is also the art table where you can peruse divination art and purchase prints if you're so inclined. Treat yourself to a massage at the Massage Garden, get a professional tarot reading, or hangout at the hotel.
This is our exchange table. Bring a few decks or tarot related books that you want to find a new home for, leave them on the table and pick up a goodie that's new to you! Throughout the weekend people will be placing their items on the table and finding something new to take home. It is an exchange, so make sure to bring something in order to participate!
Two, actually! We will have one in the vendor's room (which is open to the public) and another table in the presentations area ballroom foyer (reserved for presenter's promotional materials).
