2020 Conference Update Information

We have some exciting updates to tell you about regarding the 2020 event. Here are the highlights:

As NWTS has grown over the last several years, keeping up with attendee registrations, vendors, presenters, meals, extensions and all the rest has also grown into a monumental task.

We have just setup a new database and order processing system, which we hope will make all of that a lot more streamlined. If you are used to the way the registration cart looked in past years, please bear with the new look and functionality. You should be able to login to your account and still have your information from past years, but please double check it all to make sure it is current.

New registrants will need to set up an account in order to register for the upcoming event. It should all be pretty straightforward, but if you get stuck, please contact us for assistance.
We tried both of these new components to NWTS last year and they were very successful!

We are happy to announce that they are both now permanent features of the weekend. Up to 200 people can now attend the Keynote Presenter's session without missing anything else at the same time. And, for those looking to grown their professional business, the Monday Professional Development extension is loaded with information and tips to make your business more enjoyable and profitable.
One of the few complaints we had last year was that there were too many presentation options to choose from. Not the worst of problems, but we agree. Having four choices for every time slot was a little too much.

This year we are returning to the three presentation model. We still expect to offer a good range of well known presenters along with fresh faces and new topics to keep things interesting.
Since the start of NWTS, we have not raised the event prices to adjust for cost increases for the venue, catering or staffing, all of which have gone up to varying degrees. This year, we have made some small increases across the program to help cover those, while still keeping NWTS one of the most affordable events of its kind in the world. We appreciate your attendance, support and understanding as we make these adjustments.
Payment Plans will become available June 1st, after the Early Registration discounts are closed.

We are continuing to offer the option to pay for your NWTS registration in 3 equal payments. Whether you want to register for the Friday-Sunday program, or the full four day Friday-Monday program, you will have the option of paying all at once, or make your payment in three automatic monthly installments.

Just like Public Broadcasting, Community Theater or the Ballet, we are reaching out to you for financial support to make the Northwest Tarot Symposium a huge success. As with any large community event, there are a great many costs associated with producing the Northwest Tarot Symposium. We are doing the best we can to keep registration, meals and hotel prices as low as possible, but there are still a great many expenses that need to be covered.  Whether you are planning to attend, or just want to make a donation to help this event succeed and to make sure it happens again in the future, or to contribute to the 2019 Scholarship Fund, we deeply appreciate your assistance!
